哀三22～25『…祂的憐恤不至斷絕；每早晨這些都是新的；你的信實，極其廣大。我的魂說，耶和華是我的分；因此，我要仰望祂。等候耶和華，心裏尋求祂的，耶和華必善待他。』

哥林多後書十章四至五節上：

我們爭戰的兵器，本不是屬肉體的，乃是在神面前有能力，可以攻倒堅固的營壘，將理論和各樣阻擋人認識神而立起的高寨，都攻倒了。

2 Corinthians  10:4-5a 

For the weapons of our warfare are not fleshly but powerful before God for the overthrowing of strongholds, as we overthrow reasonings and every high thing rising up against the knowledge of God.
